un nuovo inizio / a new start

Oggi Barak Obama, 44mo presidente degli USA, si e' insediato.
Il suo discorso e' stato bellissimo. Molto chiaro e determinato. Sembrava come se fosse sempre stato "Comandante in Capo". E' cosi' straordinario da non sembrare quasi umano, nemmeno un sorriso durante il discorso!
Ho avuto la sensazione di un discorso onesto e, finalmente, aperto ad una politica internazionale migliore di quella che gli USA hanno avuto da tempo immemorabile.
Mi sono molto emozionato quando ha parlato del padre. Questo, probabilmente, e' un mio problema personale.
Mi piacerebbe poter vedere un politico del genere in Italia, un giorno.

P.S. Una piccola nota. Ad assistere al discorso, c'erano, tra gli altri, Mohammed Ali' (uno dei piu' grandi sportivi di tutti i tempi) e Magic Johnson (il piu' grande giocatore di basket di tutti i tempi nonche' mio eroe)

Today, Barak Obama became the 44th President of the United States of America.
His speech has been great. Very clear and determined. It sounded like he had always been "Commander in Chief". He is so extraordinary that he hardly seems human, not even a smile during the whole speech!
I had the feeling of a honest speech and, finally, open to a better international politics than the one USA have from time immemorial.
I became very emotional when he spoke about his father. This is, probably, something mine and personal.
I would like, one day, to see a politician like this in Italy.

P.S. A small note. Among other personalities, Mohammed Ali' (one of the greatest sportsmen of all times) and Magic Johnson (the greatest basketball player of all times as well as my personal hero) were attending the speech.
