Ci ho messo quasi una settimana a riprendermi dall'idea che Berlusconi tornera' al Governo.
Mi domando perche' la sinistra abbia perso le elezioni e mi rispondo.
17milioni di Italiani hanno votato per Berlusconi e 13milioni per Veltroni. Questo significa che il Paese e' diviso in due. La legge elettorale da' un'idea falsata della realta' politica italiana.
I comunisti non sono piu' in Parlamento. La colpa non e' ne' di Grillo ne' di Veltroni. La colpa e' dei vari partiti comunisti che hanno perso il contatto con la gente.
Lo squallore e' la gente che ha votato Lega. Ho l'impressione che la Lega abbia preso il posto del Partito Comunista come "partito di lotta" per la classe operaia.
Ma perche' ha vinto Berlusconi? Perche' la Sinistra si e' sciolta in queste elezioni. Il vero vincitore di queste elezioni e' Veltroni che ha portato il Partito Democratico ad essere il secondo partito del Paese.
Ci aspettano cinque anni duri ma saremo duri e risponderemo colpo su colpo.

It took me almost a week to recover from the idea that Berlusconi will be back at the Government.
I wonder why the left has lost the elections and I answer myself.
17millions Italians have voted for Berlusconi adn 13millions for Veltroni. This means that the Country is divided in two. The electoral law gives a fake idea of the Italian political reality.
Communists are no longer in the Parliament. It is neither Grillo's nor Veltroni's fault. It's the various communist parties which have lost contact with people
The squalid bit is people who voted for Lega. I have the impression that Lega has taken the place of the Communist Party as "fighting party" for the working class.
Bt why did Berlusconi win? It's because the Left melted at these elections. The real winner is Veltroni who brought the Democratic Party to be the second party of the Country.
We are expected by five tough years and we will fight back.
No pasaran!

il giorno della verita' / the day of truth

Oggi si vota dopo una campagna elettorale troppo lunga.
Oggi gli Italiani hanno la possibilita' di cacciare il Male che ha il coraggio di affermare che un mafioso fu un eroe.
Il cosiddetto Popolo delle Liberta' e' un attentato alla Democrazia.
Walter Veltroni e' l'unica alternativa. Il lato buono e' che si puo' appoggiare Veltroni votando Italia dei Valori. Guardate il post di ieri di Antonio Di Pietro.
Io non potro' votare ma conto su chi, in Italia, ha voglia di Democrazia.
Tremo all'idea che Licio Gelli possa sedere a Palazzo Chigi insieme a Toto' Riina e Bernardo Provenzano.

Today they vote after an electoral campaign way too long.
Today Italians have the chance to get rid of Evil which dares saying that a mafia killer was a hero.
The so called "Popolo delle Liberta'" is an attempt against Democracy.
Walter Veltroni is the only alternative. The good side is that one can support Veltroni voting "Italia dei Valori". Please, give a look to yesterday's post on Antonio Di Pietro's blog.
I will not be able to vote but I count on who, in Italy, still wants Democracy.
I am scared by the idea of Licio Gelli sitting in Palazzo Chigi together with Toto' Riina and Bernardo Provenzano.

Pierferdinando Casini e gli altri / Pierferdinando Casini and the others

Pierferdinando Casini e' un eroe. E' stato Presidente della Camera dei Deputati durante gli ultimi due Governi Berlusconi ed e' stato un buon Presidente. Non era il suo ruolo esser contro le leggi-vergogna volute da Berlusconi. Ora, coraggiosamente, ha deciso il suo suicidio politico. Si colloca politicamente a meta' tra Berlusconi e Veltroni senza avere speranza (ne' un vero programma politico). Se non sono d'accordo con le sue idee, ammiro la tenacia.
Ci sono tanti candidati Presidenti del Consiglio a queste elezioni e non ho il tempo (ne' la voglia) di commentarli tutti. Si tratta di vaghi tentativi di gente che "ci prova". Una menzione la merita Giuliano Ferrara. Giornalista, ex-comunista, ex-socialista, ex-ministro di un Governo Berlusconi ed ex-spia pagato dalla CIA. Ha fondato un partito contro l'aborto. Credo che sia chiaro che stiamo parlando di una persona che vale molto poco.
Buona fortuna con la scelta del vostro campione.

Pierferdinando Casini is a hero. He has been President of the Chamber of Deputies during the two last Governments of Berlusconi and he has been a good President. It was not his role to be against the shameful laws that Berlusconi wanted. Now, fearlessly, he decided his political suicide. He places himself politically somewhere in between Berlusconi and Veltroni and he has no hope (nor a political program). I don't agree with his ideas but I admire his persistence.
There are so many candidates President of the Government at these coming elections that I don't have the time (or the will) to comment on them all. They are vain attempts of people who "try". A mention goes for Giuliano Ferrara. He is a journalist, ex-communist, ex-socialist, ex-minister of one of the various Berlusconi's Governments and he is an ex-spy paid by the CIA. He founded a party against abortion! I guess it's clear we are talking about a person who is not worth much.
Good luck with the choice of your champion.

Daniela Santanche'

(English version comes after the italian one)

Daniela Santanche' e' l'unica donna candidata a Presidente del Consiglio alle prossime elezioni. Questo e' il suo unico merito. E' una bella sventola e questa e' la sua principale caratteristica politica.
E' una donna che si proclama fascista. Questa sarebbe un'ottima ragione per chiuderla in galera, perche', in Italia, difendere il fascismo e' reato, grazie a Dio.
Crede che Guglielmo Marconi abbia inventato la radio grazie al fascismo. Marconi vinse il Premio Nobel quando Mussolini era socialista (1909). Daniela Santanche' potrebbe anche aprire un libro di storia.
Daniela Santanche' ha mostrato (nel 2005) il dito medio agli studenti che protestavano contro l'infame riforma Universitaria del Governo Berlusconi che lei appoggiava felicemente.
Daniela Santanche' afferma di essere "incazzata". Si facesse vedere da uno bravo, che' non si cura l'aggressivita' a Palazzo Chigi.
La Sig.ra Santanche' aggiunge un po' di squallore al gia' triste panorama politico italiano.

Daniela Santanche' is the only woman who is candidate for the Presidentship of the Government at the next elections. This is her only merit. She is a hot chick and this is her main political characteristic.
She is a woman who claims to be fascist. This would already be a good reason to lock her in jail, since, in Italy, defending fascism is a crime, thank God.
She believes that Guglielmo Marconi has invented the radio thanks to fascism. Marconi won the Nobel Prize when Mussolini was a socialist (1909). Daniela Santanche' might open a book every now and then.
Daniela Santanche' showed (in 2005) her middle finger to students who were protesting against the shameful reform of the University of Berlusconi's Government, which she happily supported.
Daniela Santanche' claims to be "angry". She may visit a shrink, since there is no anger management facility at Palazzo Chigi.
Miss Santanche' adds a bit of squalor in the sad Italian political landscape.

Fausto Bertinotti

Fausto Bertinotti è una persona che non ha capito la differenza tra un sindacato ed un partito. E' un uomo per il quale ha ancora senso parlare di "padroni". Vive negli anni '60 da 50anni, speriamo che da Mosca lo avvisino che il Muro di Berlino è caduto.
Il partito di Bertinotti (qualsiasi sia il suo nome ora...) è stato quello che meglio si è comportato nei confronti dell'appoggio alla ricerca scientifica, nei confronti della distruzione del sistema universitario italiano e nei confronti delle guerre nelle quali il nostro Paese è stato coinvolto.
Bertinotti è appoggiato dai Verdi di Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio. Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio è stato il primo ministro contro cui gli scienziati abbiano mai protestato. Ha un modo di interpretare la difesa dell'ambiente che è oscurantista e medioevale. Mai e poi mai questa persona dovrebbe mettere piede nelle istituzioni italiane.

Fausto Bertinotti is a person who hasn't understood the difference between a labor union and a party. He is a person for whom it still makes sense to speak about "masters". He lives in the '60s since 50years, hopefully someone from Moscow will inform him that the Berlin's wall has fallen.
Bertinotti's party (whatever its name is now...) is the one which best behaved with regards of the support of scientific research, with regards of the destruction of the Italian University system and in regards of all the wars in which our Country has been involved with.
Bertinotti is backed by the "Greens" of Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio. Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio has been the first minister (years ago) against whom scientists have ever protested (in Italy). He has a way to interpret the defence of the environment which is obscurantist and medieval. This is a person who should never step into an Italian institution again.

Silvio Berlusconi

Silvio Berlusconi e' un criminale, una disgrazia per l'Italia ed un pericolo per la Democrazia.
E' un massone, appartenente alla loggia massonica P2.
Il programma di Forza Italia e' copiato da quello della P2. Il piano e' quello di destabilizzare la Giustizia ed il Parlamento tramite il controllo dei mass-media.
Alleati di Berlusconi sono Gianfranco Fini ed Umberto Bossi.
Bossi ogni tanto dice che "il popolo del Nord" dovrebbe ribellarsi con le armi.
Fini, nel suo tentativo di perdere l'etichetta di "fascista", ha perso anche la capacita' di avere un'opinione propria.
Fini e' il fantasma di un politico.
Bossi andrebbe rinchiuso in un manicomio.
Berlusconi dovrebbe esser chiuso in galera (e bisognerebbe buttar via la chiave).

P.S. Dimenticavo! Berlusconi fu condannato per falsa testimonianza (1990) e non ando' in galera per un'amnistia! Vi fidate ancora di quello che dice?

The program of Forza Italia (Berlusconi's party) is copied from P2's program. The plan was to destabilize Justice and the Parliament by the control of mass-media.
Allies of Berlusconi are Gianfranco Fini and Umberto Bossi.
Bossi sometimes says that "the people from the North" should rebel with weapons.
Fini, in his attempt to loose the label of "fascist", has lost any ability to have an opinion of his own.
Fini is the ghost of a politician.
Bossi should be secured in a mental hospital.
Berlusconi should be locked in jail (and they should throw away the key).

P.S. I almost forgot! Berlusconi was condamned for perjury (1990) and did not go to jail becuse of an amnesty! Do you still believe what he says?

Walter Veltroni

Mancano sette giorni alle elezioni ed ho deciso di dare un po' di opinioni sui maggiori candidati alla Presidenza del Consiglio. Comincio con Walter Veltroni, perché è il primo che mi è venuto in mente.
Veltroni aveva detto che dopo la sua esperienza come Sindaco di Roma se ne sarebbe andato in Africa. Ho l'impressione che gli Africani abbiano risposto "grazie ma preferiamo morir di fame".
Veltroni, come Sindaco di Roma, ha creato un Festival del Cinema... inutile e posizionato in un momento dell'anno infame, visto che fà concorrenza a Venezia.
Veltroni ha anche inaugurato il nuovo "Ara Pacis Augustae". Una cicatrice nel bellissimo centro storico di Roma. Anche peggio sono gli ascensori che salgono sul Vittoriano.
In tutta onestà, ha anche dovuto fronteggiare l'evento della morte di Giovanni Paolo II che ha portato a Roma una quantità di pellegrini insopportabile per ogni altra città.
Lo slogan politico di Walter Veltroni è "si può fare" (copiato a Barak Obama) e si presenta come "l'uomo nuovo". Uno strano "uomo nuovo" che è già stato vice-Presidente del Consiglio!
Nella coalizione che appoggia Walter Veltroni, c'è il partito di Antonio Di Pietro. Un peccato. Speravo che questo partito avesse ambizioni più alte.

There are seven days left to Italian Political elections and I decided to give some opininos on the major candidates to President of the Government. I will begin with Walter Veltroni because he is the first one who came to my mind.
Veltroni (who now is Mayor of Rome) said that he would have left to Africa after his experience as Mayor of Rome. I have the impression that African people answered "thanks but we prefer to starve".
Veltroni, as Mayor of Rome, has created a Cinema Festival... which is useless and it is scheduled in a terrible moment of the year, since it's way too close to the historic Venezia Festival.
Veltroni has also inaugurated the new "Ara Pacis Augustae". A scar in the beautiful historical centre of Rome. Even worse are the lifts which go all the way up the "Vittoriano".
To be honest, he also had to face the event of the death of John Paul II which brought to Rome an amount of pilgrims that no other city would have been able to face.
Walter Veltroni's political slogan is "we can do it" (copied from Barak Obama's "yes, we can") and he shows himself as "the new man". A strange "new man" who has already been vice-President of the Government.
In the coalition supporting Walter Veltroni, there is the party of Antonio Di Pietro. A pity. I wish this party had better ambitions.
