Deep Purple @ Santiago de Chile

I Deep Purple sono una leggenda del rock'n'roll.

Ieri sera hanno suonato in un teatro di Santiago de Chile. Avrebbero potuto salire sul palco, suonare ed andarsene ma valgono di piu' di questo.

I Deep Purple sono saliti sul palco ed hanno regalato a Santiago un concerto che restera' nel cuore della Santiago rockettara.

Ian Gillian non ha piu' la voce di "Made in Japan" e Steve Morse non e' Richie Blackmore ma la band si diverte e diverte.

Momenti d'oro: un finale strepitoso di "Strange kind of woman", tutta "Space truckin'" e "Gracias a la vida" di Violeta Parra eseguita al pianoforte.

Personalmente, mi dispiace che non abbiano suonato "Child in time" (ma forse oggi il duetto voce-chitarra non sarebbe piu' lo stesso di 35anni fa) e non mi ha entusiasmato "Smoke on the water" (la chitarra era troppo distorta).

Comunque, un grande esempio di una band leggendaria che ha ancora il gusto di suonare per il pubblico e non per se stessa.

Deep Purple are a rock'n'roll legend.
Last night they played in a theater in Santiago de Chile. They could have gotten on stage, play and then leave but they are better than this.
Deep Purple got on stage and presented Santaigo a concert that will stay in the heart of roking Santiago.
Ian Gillian doesn't have the same voice he had in "Made in Japan" and Steve Morse is not Richie Blackmore but the badnd is having fun and is fun.
Golden moments: a spectacular ending for "Strange kind of woman", the whole "Space trucking'" and "Gracias a la vida" by Violeta Parra, played with the piano.
Personally, I am sorry they did not play "Child in time" (although today the duet voice-guitar would not be the same as 35years ago) and I was not enthusiastic of "Smoke on the water" (guitar had too much distortion).
Anyway, a great example of legendary band which still enjoys playing for a crowd and not for itself.
